Travel with the Maximal bus trip to splash! Festival. splash! is one of the biggest hip-hop festivals of Europe and can be seen as the German equivalent of WOO HAH. The only difference is that this location is way different: the industrial Ferropolis site! Some may know this place as the festival location of MELT and Full Force but this time it will be filled with the hip-hop scene.

splash! Festival is Germany’s number one hip-hop festival since it took place for the first time in 1998. At splash! you will find the biggest rap names of the U.S.A. but also some new and upcoming smaller names from the European underground scene.

Whether you’re a hip-hop/rap lover or not: there are a lot of genres you can can find on this festival. With a total of 6 stages you’ll find your spot easily between the rappers, the drum and bass DJs, the house dancehall and the raggae soundsystems. Also, if you get tired of the energetic performances you can enjoy the beach and the forest along Lake Gremmin and the endless eccentric outfits that pass you by.

Although splash! often sells out already in January, it is not that well known yet among fans outside of Germany. So it’s about time to go ahead and discover this festival!
