#Tip 1: What do you take with you?
You will need far less stuff at an indoor festival than when going to an outdoor party. Still it is useful to think about the things you take with you! #Tip 2: Plan your way back
What could be worse than plan your return trip after a party? Make sure you know what the plan is for the return trip before you go partying. If you go to an after, where are you going to do this? When you go home, how do you get home?
#Tip 3: Chill!
Don’t overestimate yourself! The festival lasts very long, if you want you can dance for 18 hours straight. To prevent you from being knocked out at half the party, it is wise (and fun) to go for a walk between dancing or to chill out at the chill area.
#Tip 4: Set up a plan
Do not change your internship too often, because in the end you will see nothing. Therefore, plan in advance which artists are a must see. This way you don’t just walk up and down while missing the most acts.
Extra tip: Do not always go directly to the main stages, the best sets are not always found here.
#Tip 5: Meeting spot
At such a huge party you can easily lose your friends and it can be very difficult to find each other again. It’s fun to go on an adventure by yourself and you should definitely do that! Arrange a meeting spot with your friends where you can find each other again.
Extra tip: Look for a higher point when you are looking for your friends. It is easier to search from above.
#Tip 6: TIME WARP IS CASHLESS
Since a couple of years, Time Warp is Cashless. You get a special chip on your wristband that you can put money on. Ideal because then you can not lose any coins.
You can charge your wristband before the festival starts. This is useful to do in advance, because this saves you standing in line at the festival.
Extra tip: Top up your wristband with a credit card, if you still have money left after the festival, you can ask for your top-up money back.
#Tip 7: Eat and drink!
To get everything out of your festival you have to keep it up! Get some fruit or other food from one of the food stands, so you have enough energy to keep on partying. Also make sure you drink enough! It can get very hot inside and due to the many movements you lose a lot of moisture.
Extra tip: They sell water with caffeine on Time Warp, so be careful not to accidentally order the wrong water.
